With the bustling lives we all lead, it’s vital now more than ever to make time for ourselves.  To reconnect inward, listen and find harmony within.

We believe, to achieve harmony in life we must cultivate a connected consciousness by nourishing our whole being – our body, mind, emotions and senses.

Nourish our body with delicious, energizing whole nutrients and physical practices that balance our being.

Nourish our mind to deepen our awareness  and re-connect with the present moment and others.

Nourish our emotions and senses by embarking on immersive experiences that go beyond our everyday.

Nourished Union curates programs and experiences that support individuals to embark on their personal wellness journey by nourishing one’s whole self.  Using the ancient teachings of Yoga and Ayurveda, we unlock its rich history to make the practices relevant in this modern world.

Our Philosophy:

Wellness is the balance of mind, body and soul.  It is more than a nice to have on your to-do list.  It is a right to all living beings, and the a way of living.

Our mind-body-emotions-senses know how to heal and be in balance, much like nature.  Though for most of us, this busy, bustling world has taken us off balance.  Nourished Union believes in living well everywhere we go, in all aspects of life.  Whether at home, work, on the road, or with family/friends – living your most conscious and connected life allows you to experience the now, come into balance and achieve living your most meaningful life.

We believe in WELL WITHOUT BORDERS.  Living well anywhere, anytime, anyplace.

Her journey started on the stage, as a professional contemporary dancer and producer, eventually leading her to the corporate world – producing events. During which time, she began healing her body (from old dance injuries) with yoga. The magic of the practice soon took over in ways she didn’t expect and she found herself coming back to the mat to seek balance mentally and emotionally, in addition to the many positive physical affects.  By applying the tools learned on the mat, she was able to undo old patterns and develop new pathways for her mind-body to connect and overcome stress, anxiety and overwhelm.  This deeper awareness eventually lead Karen to pursue further studies in the holistic modalities to learn the in-depth philosophies and practices of Yoga and Ayurveda and how to apply them to support others affected by stress.

Her practice is focused on a truly holistic approach of balancing the mind, body, emotions and senses by leveraging the ancient practices of Yoga and Ayurveda, and applying them in the modern world.  She leans on scientific backing to support these great tools and practices, and integrates this knowledge in a tangible way for people to immediately feel the affects of lower stress, balancing the nervous system and living consciously through preventative holistic health.  She unites her knowledge of anatomy with the deeper teachings of yoga to help her students practice with greater form, while finding balance between effort and ease. Her teaching focuses on connecting the mind to whatever challenge lies before them, all while staying present through awareness and breath. Whether its yoga, spin, barre, meditation, holistic nutrition or ayurveda, Karen’s teachings focus on an experience that goes further than just the physical, by bringing attention to connecting one’s whole self and uncovering a deeper potential.  Through personal coaching, online programs and in person events and workshops, she helps people to develop new habits through a daily practice that works within their busy lives.  And in turn, leads people to bring attention to balancing one’s whole self, uncovering a deeper potential and living a more meaningful and connected life.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_column_text]
